The Scoops on what went wrong:
In short...because of bug in program, if one puts code in post box and ticks box that says code added, the variable in post.pl dissappear. Even there support forum is having the same issues (but only for not as long) - They had different error. The had a "code dump" error. HOWEVER... I was able to redownload the file, and get a fresh copy of post.pl. So...next time I have such issues, I will be able to fix it within seconds instead of 2 days. (I was a little short on sleep and wasn't thinking too clearly. couldn't figure out where to redownload file without having it set itself up - which I didn't need.)
 
What's really funny, is that both the backup copy of post.pl and the original had the same error. Obviously, I must have copied the error post.pl before I realized it had an error. I tried fixing error by deleting my post, and the error remained. I was NOT editing post.pl. There is errors on several lines. And of course, what lines those are, are not numbered. I do not feel like counting to 1000. I am waiting on a bug fix.
 
I go from XMB MySQL issues, to YaBB is post.pl program issues. Simple Machines has the better forum but the forum is NOT customizable at all! One can add smilies, avatars, but that is all. The colors, themes stay the same.

I NEED PRAYER! I am beyond frustrated. I want to throw the entire web out the window - internet, computer and the entire works! On top of it all, the phone keeps ringing every 10 minutes. Yes, I am under a spiritual attack. I've had nothing but problems ever since I've gotten permission to archive the old forum.
(I didn't use ezboards as I'd have to pay thru the roof to get customizable board and I couldn't have my lovely smilies without lots of issues. Plus, I'd have to wait 30 days before the options freebies get even becomes accessible, as ezboards INSIST you use their paid only options for 30 days. Jennifer & I decided to try YaBB. I just can't believe all the stupid issues I am having! It is so unreal!

 
UPDATE: I DID get everything before forum went down! I just don't have all
last updates online yet. Will do that before August 8th)
 
The Friends of 4HIM forum is back UP!!! YEAH!!! (And Down for good - :( )

I did get the Poll Booth folder copied now! And the rest of the recent posts that weren't copied before.
I was looking at that folder in my site and opened up a page that had no words
on it. Thats when I knew. With that unsaved hacker, the files are gone. We will
not mention what I want to do to that guy, as it is NOT Biblical, so instead lets all
pray Blessings upon him, as that is Biblical.

 
The Friends of 4HIM Forum had an attempted hack. They are working on
retrieving lost data.
UPDATE!!!! They were hacked again! However, we already
had copied and pasted all of the stuff from there and archived it. The only thing
we did not get is the latest posts, that were done on and after July 4th.
The hacker is the same person who has hacked 957 sites.
The reason why we did not lose much data is because I stayed up until 2 am
most nights to finish the copy and paste, even while on vacation down in
Fairmont for the fourth. We would have lost even less data had on Saturday
morning, when I was looking at the forum, I would have remembered to grab
the last bit. Sorry!

 
About xmb hosting. UPDATE!!!
I have decided that the forum must be hosted on my site instead of a free site for 2 reasons:
1) My server and forum does not have MySQL issues and is on a very stable server.
2) I can customize everything and have customiziable smilies made by me.
3) We KNOW that it will work without issues.
4) We won't have to switch anything for a long time.

Jennifer is feverishly working out the hardcoding on that forum, so we get the
Themes we like. We are using Yabb.

CALL FOR HELP WITH HTML ENCODING OF ARCHIVES!!!

The work is easy copy and paste. I already have detailed instructions within the
site. Any 4HIM fan who is willing to help, the pay is satisfaction of the entire fan
base.
And, we can AIM or use Yahoo to communicate back and forth for free with any
issues you may have.
The hours are whenever you have time. ANY help is much appreciated!

as we would get 5gb of space AND will be able to

UPDATE:
BR tags ARE done (friend showed me shortcut).
HOWEVER be forwarned that some pages will look very very odd!
AFTER the Friends of 4him.net Forum is closed, THEN we will get the final html
coding up on the archive site. This is so that no NEW data is accidentally deleted.
All Links will be done 19th of July. Done!

 
By the 27th you will have:
1.} The New projects pages done
2.} 1 Connect Four Game
3.} At least 1 Hangman game with the original pictures from TPGame's version.
We will get a NEW Hangman imagery when I get that done, that suits our
theme better.

My long list IE deleted, so I will have to wrack my brain and refigure out what I put here. So, this page looks WORDY AGAIN!!!! I had it in neat 1.}, 2.} - 7.} when I fat fingered ctrl with my palm and hit W probably. At Dunn bros., so got to go! Bye!

A 32 Card Memory Game
Forgot to put the space around the card. My oops! Will also fix # of columns
tomorrow to when I get Sister's laptop up, to see if 6 works on her screen.
The cards and type is as large as I can go. I do need to find shorter bible verses.
On the bible site (will have links back and forth) the theme will be
verses from the bible. (October 2006)
Also, will have stories and comprehension questions eventually When
I figure out how to write the code for that. (Sometime in 2007) But this will be
related to the Bible site and NOT the Fan site.

The Site is NOT done yet, but THE NEW FORUM IS BACK UP AND RUNNING!!!
The MySQL error bug was fixed... They took it down to work on an error on
one fan forum site. (but, has other mysql issues).

Clicking on the 4HIM News link on the left will eventually get you to a page
where you can click on the Picture of the 4HIM Guy you want the latest news
on. ALL new projects will be featured here.

The Games will feature nostalgic 4HIM and the New Projects. Sorry! No
Jigsaw Puzzles of the Guys! At least not until I can figure out how to have
a website only version that is NOT downloadable. They have the scripts for
this, I just haven't been able to get any of them to work.

Lastly, all posts at the New Forum will be archived here as well but under a
different archive link as I wish to keep the two forums separate. I will post the
title to that one when the time comes.

I did figure out what to do with the pages containing all of the posts in the
topics. This will get worked on tonight and all this week. Thanks!
