How would the Doctor deal with a companion that was profoundly deaf? Would there have to be special adjustments?

Would the TARDIS be able to compensate? Primarily because it 'gets in your head and translates' -- would it go a step further?

It's acceptable if it's also crossed over with other shows, although it should be a standalone Doctor Who story based on this 'What if'.

I challenge you, writer -- to come up with a plausible reason for Peter to gain a few extra powers after he's lost and regained his powers in Heroes season 3.

Limitations? None.

Crossovers? None.

Other things? Nah. Do anything you can imagine. :)

Hmm, since there's a bazillion alternate universes in the "Omniverse" in all the X-men comics and books and so on... 

Pick your favorite character that's not commonly gay, and write them as such. 

Throw them into a strange vortex which leads them to any other story-verse you prefer.

Make sure they have to have some sort of magic spell to return.
