This story Parents should read first to be sure that it is age appropriate for your child. It deals with children running away for non-normal reasons. The children do not believe in doing drugs or drinking. However, in their adventure, they do see the impact a drunk driver does have. This is near the end of the book.

This story will most likely have sequels.
